Like many things in my life, MoHerb started out as one idea and is now something better than the original.

Being located in Missouri, most people ask if that's why the name is MoHerbs.  Actually it's not. The name is a salute to my maternal family - the Morrisons.  My family has been my inspiration for the creation of products and business ideas for as long as I can remember.  With my grandmother, MaeErma Jane being a professional soapmaker (she learned from her grandmother Matilda Jane) there really wasn't a question whether I would learn about herbs and homestead crafts like soapmaking, canning, sewing and farming.

MoHerbs houses all of the different personal care and accessory brands names I work under.  I never wanted to change my original business, Botanical Earth.  But everyone around me wanted something different whether "make something that smells like cucumbers" or "make something that I remember from childhood like old fashion lye soap" .  As there was no way I could offer those goods under one brand, so I started MoSoap.  Then since I handmade all our promotional magnets and buttons, and people asked for round soaps...well that started The Round Workshop.  Also on this site, you'll find my mother's business Royal Blue Botanicals which is based in Colorado.  She's the beekeeper currently in the family and where I source our honey and beeswax from - see we really do keep it in the family around here.

Besides handmade artisan goods my family makes, you will also find a listing of the classes I teach.  Whether for individuals or large groups, I periodically offer classes in herbalism, gardening and crafting herbal body care.  So take a look around and feel free to ask me any questions.
